The problem is that it doesn't matter. Unless your parents are Ragyo and Gendo, having an open dialog where you and your parents can talk openly with each other is something that you absolutely should do. You'll avoid a shitton of future conflicts if you grow a pair now and take action to get the three of you to actually consider each other equals like you "don't disagree with" wanting. You can't really pray about it since anything that could be done would infringe "free will", so try actually doing things on your own instead of asking for it or waiting and hoping that it turns out well on it's own.
