Actually, the Chivalry bit is the bit I DO like. I'm not really aiming to run a nihilistic grim slog through aerial warfare. I want to have [i]fun[/i], and enjoy being a big damn hero and a good guy. 
That's the game I'm running here, Sorry if it's not 'edgy' or 'realistic' enough for everyone, but I would've thought the submarine aircraft carrier and the mention of railguns, lasers and sci-fi tech would've pointed out that this isn't going to be teh sooper realistic and 'gritty'.
