Sounds good. I think I'll just have Ariel be on the lookout for things for the most part, but I think her priorities would be to find a house or a shop/house, and maybe finding suppliers for rarer ingredients. She also might be interested to know what kind of competition there is around the city and hopefully find needs to fill with the populace.

As for the clothing, I wouldn't know the first thing about it. I thought probably silks and cottons would be appropriate because of the weather, but as for styles, I don't know. Imperial or Dunmer maybe? I looked at a couple of screenshots of ESO, and they looked slightly inspired by native South American styles, but it was more armour than general clothing. Not to mention that ESO is set in the second era, so things might have changed. All in all, I'm not sure that it's really a big deal, go with whatever.
