Personality: Stubborn and skeptical. Koren takes his duties as a knight very seriously, and always tries to act like the symbol of justice that he is supposed to be. His trust is difficult to earn, but those that do will find no man more loyal than he. His stern and serious attitude has earned him more rivals than friends, but he is seldom the instigator of any fights.

Koren is a well built young man with handsome features and fairly long brown hair that he ties up when in battle. He wears light armor, preferring higher mobility and stamina to raw defense. When not in battle, he also wears a locket with a griffin inscribed on it, a symbol of his noble heritage. 

Backstory: Koren is descended from a long line of knights. Ever since the knights of Galvarok were first founded, there has been a member of the Zillias family among them. As such, his family has enormous expectations for him. Unlike many of his colleagues who honored their families simply by being chosen, being chosen was a given for Koren. In order to honor his family he was expected to be among the best. This pressure led to his somewhat anti-social personality, but also to his exceptional skills and devotion to his destiny.

When Koren strikes the ground with his blade, the force of gravity around him drastically increases. The degree of increase is determined both by Koren’s physical strength, and by the strength of his will. Likewise, for the effect to last it requires Koren to constantly exert his strength and will. It is a powerful, but strenuous ability.

Skills: Aside from his martial prowess, Koren has a secret love for literature, particularly poetry. His is well versed in both history and folklore, and has excellent handwriting. When he is certain of his privacy, he will often compose poems in a small notebook. Of course, this is his dark secret.

Magistra: Enchant Weapon – Koren cloaks his halberd in an aura that sends magical energy coursing into the first thing it strikes. The spell is useful for fighting heavily armored enemies.

Iron Flesh – For a brief moment, a single part of Koren’s body becomes as strong as iron. The spell can save one’s live in a pinch.
