Jacholaus smiled and would hold a finger to Melody's lips. "Shh, say no more. I won't ask further than that," he said. Jacholaus was becoming more and more aware of how he was making her flustered. He would then say, "I have a lot of space in my home, so don't worry about having your own room. Already taken care of." Jacholaus would then think. "Well, I guess school is over for the day...," he said, training off a bit. He would smile to her and ask, "What say you and I go to my house and I'll show you around, introduce you to everyone, and figure out how to lay out your bedroom?" Jacholaus smiled and would take her hand gently.

After a minute or so, he would start guiding Melody out of the DWMA, gently holding her hand. Melody would receive even more glances of jealousy, holding hands with Jacholaus. Jacholaus either didn't notice or didn't mind it all that much. When he and Melody exited the building and were going down the stairs, he turned to her and said, "Like I said, it's not that far from here. The most work you have to do is these stairs."
