Actually yeah they can send words. Most jedi actually skilled in telepathy are only able to send short sentences at a time. Palpatine could send telepathic messages from miles to literally star system lengths away to Mara Jade. Those two didn't share a bond of any kind. Kit Fisto, and Plo Koon are notable. But I understand where you are going. Oh and Luke who could mind fuck an entire planet in one of the books. Those are technically exceptions outside of those that lack the bonds needed. Besides I forget in my own idea that I don't know where they are at to even use telepathy if Crim had focused on such a thing to Kit Fisto or Palpatine levels. Lolz.
