I'm beginning to notice a pattern with every professional game nowadays, the creators seem to be bringing back old champions and updating them to be damn near invincible to anything that didn't come out with them.

Yu-Gi-Oh has been doing that a lot recently with old Archtypes like Darkworlds and Monarchs (Rumour is that HERO's are the next to get this, fingers crossed) and now Pokemon has jumped on the Bandwagon by giving all these Mega Evolutions that eliminate pokemons weaknesses (Such as Mega Venusaur's Thick Fat ability, leaving Psychic and Flying as its only real weakness', and Mega Aggron losing it's Rock typing, which makes it susceptible to Fire, but gains better resistance to Water, Ground, Grass, Fighting and Steel) And there are rumours that Magic are going to update and bring back Arcbounds.

Am I the only person who noticed this?
