Jim squeezed back on Spencer's hand. It's been a while since he was with her, and he intended to stay with her. He greeted Steph's friend who seemed to have been awakened by their noise, then he left Kang to Steph. He knew Kang was okay, and that Steph could handle him, so he pulled Spencer into a corner so they could catch up. 

"How are you, Spence?" Jim said, not letting go of her hand.
