"Of course I'm really worried about her!" she exlcaimed and turned around to scowl at Daniel. "And not because of the food, damn it!" she added, her scowl turning into a glare. She huffed, irritated and turned back around, staring at her phone, waiting for it to light up any second. She was also annoyed at Daniel for all that 'rack' talk. It was disgusting, in her opinion. But she guessed that was thanks to the swimming team guys inlfuence. They were all like that and even though Kat was pretty sure Daniel wasn't one to get influenced fast by others, it seemed to be normal at that age and with those surroundings. Funny how she sometimes sounded like some old woman. Most of her friends were guys for some reason and she always felt like she needed Emilias full female charm close to balance that out. The bell rang and their history lesson begun, with Kat rather unable to concentrate properly, constantly glancing at the display of her phone. But there was no answer from Emilia yet and Kat almost got caught thrice. Luckily the teacher wasn't one to say anything about this kind of thing if you noticed soon enough and stopped right away. Any other teacher and he or her would have taken the phone from her the very first time. Which, of course, she couldn't risk. She needed her phone, not because she had to constantly check for messages or her facebook page or that kind of thing, but simply because she always needed to be contactable by her various siblings if an emergency were to turn up. Which had already happened plenty of times. And her mother usually couldn't get away from her work, as well as he elder brother, so she was the one who would have to leave whatever she was doing an run to take over. And she didn't actually mind that, most of the time. Sighing, Kat alternated between gazing out the window and copying whatever was being written on the blackboard. She would have to try and look over it all once more in the evening, when she had some time to herself, and probably ask someone to help her catch up. Normally she would ask Emilia, but she wasn't here. So then, she was thinking of Sirius, but he had so much to do with the Cultural Festival coming up, he most likely didn't have the time for it. So that left Daniel. Kat lightly turned around to get a look at him and see whether he was even remotely concentrating on the lesson.
