"Great." Was his response to getting the new clothes. Though there was an odd feeling about Kuro's intentions, only to push it away as he coughed. Aoba could have been assuming things. He watched as the book was removed from his hands and gave a pout, only for an arm to wrap around his waist. He looked down, blushing lightly but accepted it. And they were off to the town. "How odd. I knew humans couldn't see my wings...besides the priest,  but I didn't know they could phase through clothing here." It was too weird to comprehend, so he only accepted it. They were getting close to the border where Kuro said not to go, and he held on to his arm gently. He looked around, never slowing his pace. He was still excited to adventure away from home. He had been cooped up for a day or two so he was glad to get some fresh air. As they began to walk, he hummed softly and continued looking around. It thankfully was a nice day to work. The weather was warm, and the breeze was gentle. "Soo..." Aoba looked around at the seemingly endless road. There was nothing to see, and soon he got bored. His humming had eventually ceased and they walked in silence. Thirty minutes had passed, or what Aoba deduced as a long time, until he heard the noise of cars and people. "Hey, look, we're here, we're here." Aoba started to take a step ahead, but remembered that he was in unfamiliar territory. He couldn't just run off like he did in heaven. So, he paused and stayed by Kuro's side. He began reading off the signs as they entered the town and curiously watched as people walked past them. He didn't know what it was about them, but humans just seemed so odd... "What're we getting first? The truck?" He said, still looking at everyone else. One woman walked past, walking her dog with her and it paused to sniff at him and bark happily. It startled Aoba at first, but the woman laughed lightly. "Don't worry, he seems to like you." So, of course the little angel paused and moved away from Kuro to gently pet the dog before she pulled him away. Aoba smiled and then hurried back to the safety of Kuro's side. And once again, his eyes were wondering to the various people around. He looked into a diner they had passed and a happy old couple seemed to smile and wave at him. Blinking, Aoba slowly waved back as he passed.
