Kain sat on the edge of the skyscraper watching his painted picture. The protest that was attacked earlier was still being sorted. The humans tried frantically to pick up the pieces that Kain smashed and left. They like to think that their organized and ready for anything but the real truth is that they’re just like rats. They’re disorganized, dirty and many. All Kain is doing is waking them up to the truth. However, as much as he would love to attack every single piece of oppression on conduits, his true goal was to attract attention of a certain someone. That certain someone will lead him on the path to Syndicate and Petrov. Once he finds Petrov, he will make him suffer more than he could possibly imagine. His hands glow with the green-yellow colour of chlorine gas. The more he thinks about Petrov, the more the hands glow in a representation of rage and revenge. He then looks closer in the far distance at the site of the protest. He thought he saw something quite odd for a moment there. He could swear he saw some sort of flash, almost like a flash of lightning. He can’t see what happened, as a building was covering the sight of the flash. All he can tell was a flash of light happened and he’s not sure but he thought he saw some sort of white mist. He then stands up and starts to tense up and ready. He’s not sure if it was Scorn’s doing or if it is some sort of sign. He needs to be ready just in case. Unfortunately, his train of thought is interrupted as he heard some sort of loud swish happen behind him. He quickly turns around and aims his hand quickly at whatever did that. A piece of hydrochloric acid floated around his hand, waiting for Kain to pull the trigger. Oddly though, it was nothing. It was the same as before. Some open air vents and a large water tank. This made Kain very hot on his feet. He knows something is there. He has the eerie feeling of being watched, almost like there is something lurking in the shadow. Then it hit Kain. Shadows! That’s what Scorn can manipulate. He remembers it vaguely from Curdun Cay. It became quite a problem for the officials there. If his memory serves him, they had to put her in a room filled with lights and no darkness at all, except her own shadow. “Scorn?” calls Kain out towards the shadow. There was no response for the first ten-twenty seconds but then a dark, rough voice replied back towards Kain. “She at the moment.” An angry look came to Kain’s face. He is not interested in some lackey. He wants Scorn. He moves a little more forwards towards the shadow while still keeping his distance. “I did not destroy an anti-conduit protest to speak some mindless lackey. I did it to speak to Scorn. Now where is she!” his voice became more rougher and angrier but the shadowy figure dashed from the shadow like an agile panther towards Kain and came up at him from behind. He grasped Kain's throat and was holding it quite strongly. His hand was glowing black with some sort of shadow attack. It seemed to be he was threatening him. It might have been something he said. “Hold your fucking tongue! We are Scorn’s right hand men and we will not hesitate to destroy you! Do we make ourselves clear!?” His friend also popped out of the shadow to reveal that there are two of them. They seemed to be wearing the same uniform as the Reapers. At least he knew that they know Scorn. Kain then realizes right there that he is being threatened. He does not like threats. He fired a piece of acid from the tip of finger to his face to blind him temporarily. He lets go in pain to momentarily be blinded. Kain then quickly grabbed him and threw him at his friend. The other lackey dashed out of the way as his friend was thrown beside him. Kain then makes his arms light up in a mass flame of yellow-green chlorine gas. It was to show the extent of his powers. It was like a bald eagle show the extent of his wingspan. “If you dare fucking touch me again, I will melt you down piece by piece and send you both to Scorn in a milkshake cup so that she can drink herself some smoothies made out of you two!” He slowly walks forwards towards them and then stops. “However, I will play nicely if you show me to Scorn. Are we clear!?” The reaper henchmen don’t seemed to be feared but they do seem pissed. “We are here to take you to Scorn. As much as we would ripping that face off, we are under orders from her.” Kain just smiled and chuckled a little bit. “Typical”. One of the henchmen looked into the other and shook his head. They really wanted to kill Kain but they know they can’t. He looked back towards the scene of the protest. He knew this plan would work. If Scorn truly wanted new members, then she would not resist someone who is not scared to murder people and cause a major commotion. If he does kill Petrov, he might join the Reapers. He’d rather help Scorn with domination has an ally and not as some sort of henchman. No one controls Kain. Not any more. He turns back towards the Reaper henchmen. “I never caught your and names and I don’t care. Lead me to Scorn and I’ll follow.” Kain would have expected some sort of threat like: ‘try killing her and it’ll be your last’ or some crap like that but these Reaper soldiers are not that stupid as it seems. If Kain really wanted to kill Scorn, he wouldn’t have murdered a bunch of civilians to do so. If anyone were to have a need to kill Scorn, it’d be some conduit with a pathetic sense of morality. Kain just hopes he doesn’t bump into one. Could be messy.
