No, your opinion is that the direction they went with Maka at the end of the anime is valid and not disappointing. Cirus' is that is was not valid and it [i]was[/i] disappointing.

The fact that Justin is autonomous is just that, and isn't at all what we have been talking about. No one ever doubted that Justin had always been autonomous.
