Roshi had expected some difficulty, but this was a bit unexpected even then. Sprouting plants was not something he was used to seeing, not that quickly anyways. "Maybe it was Ki... It works differently for different people..." the old man mused, stroking at his beard again in thought. "Don't give up just yet boy. With enough hard work you'll get this sooner or later. It'll be tough, it is for everyone, but with effort anyone can master Ki." Heck, he'd taught dozens of students over the years, many of whom had not shown much potential and yet turned around and blew his socks off... In some cases literally. Goku had some real difficulty with his training too, years and years back, and look at how he had turned out. If that man could get the training right then so could these kids. Watching the two boys for a moment as he backed off they were now going to just channel energy, simple enough a task. Observing the two was like night in day, they couldn't be any more different if they tried. While Shu was expending far too much Ki T'charrl hardly seemed to be using any, he looked thoroughly frustrated. Sighing softly Roshi shook his head, this was going to take longer than he'd hoped. Shame, he was eager to get back to his videos. "How about we split up the students, Master Roshi?" Takeshi suggested, coming over to join everyone. "It makes sense, one teacher to a student, they ought to get it quicker that way, yeah?" "Hm... Yes, I suppose you're right. Not that I can't train them both myself mind you, but this way makes it easier for them!" Chuckling Roshi looked between the two boys, debating on whom to take before ultimately pointing at T'charrl. He was curious about the alien's ability to grow things, it wasn't a regular ability with Ki. Then again there were plenty of things well beyond him at this point, people had developed and discovered all sorts of techniques. "T'charrl, was it? You and I will train together, I'm certain we'll work out your difficulties in no time! So long as you agree to follow my regiment you'll succeed, I promise you that!" Takeshi was pretty happy with that arrangement, it meant he got to train Shu. Going to his brother he leaned over the younger Saiyan, smirking as he reached down and poked his sibling's forehead again. "Blasted off again, huh Shu? At least we know you've got the energy to spare." Now that he thought about it none of them really had any idea what the kid's stamina was really like. He'd never been good with Ki, so he'd never expended a whole lot. Heck, for all they knew he might have more reserves than the rest of them, all the reason to refine his control. "Come on, upsie daisy..." he added, reaching down and grabbing Shu's hand before helping his sibling to his feet. Carefully brushing off the young Saiyan's back the older boy motioned for him to follow, heading to the other side of the beach for their training. If the little guy was going to be practicing with Ki it was in everyone's best interest they probably put a little distance between themselves. "You're getting the hang of it, but you've got to learn not to use so much," Takeshi began, holding up a finger and shaking his hand, closing his eyes as he spoke. "You can definitely move it around, that much I can see. But you need to learn not to rush it, otherwise you'll end up flying off. Or accidentally blowing me up."
