The scream brought in a troop of nurses and doctors. “Peter… I need to see Peter…” She kept repeating, her head rolling from side to side as the doctors checked all the vitals to their surprise everything was returning to normal at a rather rapid pace. Her body tossed and turned in the bed as the doctors and nurses worked. She didn’t want to fight them, fully aware that they were there to help but she really wanted nothing to do with them. She wanted her Peter, and only Peter could make her feel better. Her biggest concern was if he was alive or not. Harry went rather insane and went so far as to attack her and inject her with… something. Something weird, that apparently, according to the chatter of the doctors, was no longer in her system. The look on their faces said she should have died, which was something she was well aware of but no one would be able to get an answer to whether or not Peter was okay. “Peter…” She continued to mutter as her blue eyes closed and her head continued to toss and turn. “I need to see Peter…” As everyone left, her eyes opened and she pushed the button the bed that made the thing rise up; it wasn’t the most comfortable thing but something kept catching her eye. Once mostly upright she squinted, her vision seemed to focus and almost zoom into what was on the wall. A small spider was crawling up it and the sight made her giggle softly; a spider… her spider… Spider-Man… Peter. Her mind trialed off, a million things going through it at once as she took in the intense sights, sounds and smells of the area around her. Everything was so strong; from the smells of the hospital room to the sounds of ticking of the machines and the uncontrollable zoom that her eyes seemed to have, seeing things closely. She could even see the wall decorations in the darkness of the bathroom as clear as day. Her ears jerked slightly as the sound of footsteps started towards her door. There were four steps, two pairs of feet; some light, as if they were delicate and soft; the other heavy and hurried, as if worried. Blue gaze moving towards the door, her eyes instantly watered seeing Peter walk in. He looked beat up but knowing that he healed fast only made her feel worse that he had gotten into such a condition but, he was alive! “Lost me…” She repeated softly. Reaching up she took his large hand her small one, careful not to undo the IV that was still in her wrist. “I was afraid I had lost you. You have no idea how scared I was that I’d wake up and found out you weren’t around anymore.” Tears rolled down her cheeks, tears of joy. “I’m so glad you’re alive.” A small sigh left her as she wrapped her fingers into his. “I’m so sorry I gave you such a scare. I thought I could talk some sense into Harry but I guess I was wrong…” A small sigh left her, she wanted to ask how Harry was but now was not the time. Her nose rose into the air, nostrils flaring as she tilted her head. “Oh god… they’re bringing tomato soup…” She said in dislike as she heard the light footsteps returning towards the door. A small knock echoed as she door creaked opened. “Miss Rogers, we thought it would be best if you ate something. We have some tomato soup in a cup for you to drink, it will help. I’ll just leave it here.” The little nurse entered and placed the tray on the end table by the bed before leaving in a hurry. “Please don’t let that spider get into the soup. I’ll have it later.” She said softly to Peter pointing to the wall across from the bed, a small black speck could be seen but there’s no way human eyes could see such detail to notice the unmoving spider. Giving Peter’s hand a small squeeze to pull his attention back to her, she couldn’t help but ask. “How am I alive? And who knew, even close to tears and shaking, when you bite your lip you still look handsome and attractive.” She said with a nod and a playful wink before flinching, the pain of the fall onto her back slowly fading. "I suppose this means you don't want to be with me anymore... I'm reckless..." She said softly, feeling as though she might be too much for him to handle after all they had been through recently, "I understand if you want to break up... I don't want you to stay with me out of pity."
