I don't know why but when I'm reading this and thinking about this I get really into character. I don't think I would ever turn on the Legion, even if rage induced. 

What I think is a potential outcome is me going off on my own to hunt down Zed and finish the job. While I may die in the process I'm sure that Zed will also be eradicated. 
I'm also really hoping I find out who this other mage is that helped me.
