While not necessarily someone that would stand out under normal circumstances, sleeping belly-down on the branches of a large tree like a cat generally draws some form of attention. Kaido, being that particular 'someone' in the scenario, had caught more than a few glimpses from the population from the ground below. Even though Kaido had woken up, it was only about an hour later that he stirred. Drowsily stretching out his body, he let out a deep yawn. "Ahhn..." He sighed, as he scratched the back of his head. After pushing himself up and pulling up his hood, he asked himself a question. "Why am I in this tree, again?" Smacking himself in the face for answering 'I dunno', Kaido perked up and remembered what he was doing. "Oh right! The meeting thing!" Hopping down from the branch with his rucksack slung on his back, Kaido figured that the best thing to do was to figure out what time it was. Pointing his sheathed sword to the sun, he began calculating. "The meeting is starting at midday, so.... I'd have about.... two hours?" He wasn't too sure about this guess, but he figured that he could just get the important details if he was late and that no one would care if he was early. With the spare time, he figured that he might as well visit Yasushi. Kaido had worked on a sword for his son several months ago, and thought it'd be nice to see how Yasushi's family was doing. "He'd probably be too busy later," Kaido reasoned. "He'll be cutting up demons 'n stuff once we get to the frontier." As he walked to the castle, a mildly-disturbing thought entered his head: "If they cut up demons, is it safe to eat what's left?" After all, the supplies they bring could potentially run out. If that time comes, what should they do? While deeply pondering this question, he accidentally bumped into the very person he was looking for. However, not realizing that is was him, Kaido immediately broke into apologies. "Ah! Sorry, I wasn't paying attentio.... Hmm?" After staring for a moment, he finally realized who it was and started chuckling with a warm grin. "Oh hi there, Yasushi!"
