Captain Jaimz Raven stood atop the foremast of his ship The Calico Finch, sipping a bottle of rum. He looked to the sea and eyed the airship as it coasted into the harbor. On the request of his fellow ships to give them aid he shook his head. Grabbing one of the hanging tackle ropes he descended to the deck and shouted to his crew as the attempted to make the ship ready for combat.
 "Belay that ye scabless dogs! We'll not be triflin' with this one, eh? Below deck now! All a ye, savvy." He ordered his crew about and they acted under his command. He pulled his hat and coat on and stood at the wheel of his galleon. 
"We'll not be meddlin' in the private affairs o' that man." he said before taking a gulp of rum and swallowing it down hard.
It was then that he received the message from Salem, brought to him by a bird.

Kazen shrugged his shoulders and pulled on his coat. He then beckoned for Soren to follow him off. 
"Cid can handle things ere for now. We've got more important things to discuss." He pulled his hood on and ran off down an alley, waving for Soren to follow him.
Once he was sure they would be far enough away he slowed and waited for his friend. 
"Things have begun to change. We'll have to learn some new things in order to keep up."
