Peter couldn't help but give a small laugh at her comment of him being attractive, holding her hand gently, looking at her, raising an eyebrow at the detail of seeing the spider... Peter's eyesight could see it, but just enough to have the common sense that its a spider... When she started to talk about breaking up he shook his head, getting on his knees so he was level with her. "no no no... Don't apologize... It was my fault... for everything... I was supposed to protect you.... and you almost died... I would have never, ever forgiven myself for that...." there was a small pause, then he gave a smirk. "You're stuck with me for a while... I'm not letting you out of my sight..." He very gently raised her hand, and kissed it.

"and as for curing you.... some of the uh... ooze got in to your blood stream. It started to eat away at your immune system... So, Doctor Octavius and I spent a lot of hours working on a cure... Using Spider-Man's blood and Octavius' more advanced serums, and we made one... It was the only one that showed no result of death no matter what happened...." He gave a small smile. "Peter Parker's brain saved your life..."
