With Naoto on the ground and him in the trees with his water clones each in another direction the five of them spanned a wide search area. High up in the trees, his eyes should be able to see farther and his ears should be catching more sounds. That's when he heard it, although it was very soft, it was a ringing sound. Takeshi pinned down the source, dispersed his water clones and made three new ones. Sending one down to Naoto and to tell him he had found Kakashi. His other two water clones each went around the panther with a huge curve, far enough for the panther to not notice them and then to show up behind him together with the real Takeshi and Naoto closing in from another angle.
