There is no 'mere' vampire in this series. Vampires are practically the end all BE ALL with the acceptions of Shinso class vampire that are beyond most other monsters even a full moon werewolf. To give you an idea both me and the yoko guy could fight you one on one and unless Joshy has a full moon or the yoko guy managed to channel his full power we'd be at a stalemate. What you're describing would be a succubus in series. They tend to have wings, tails, and have mind control abilities which are attributed to vampires normally.
