Unworkable solution, yes, clearly that is why it's a mechanic employed in more or less every roleplaying game since the very first D&D. Not like it's generally considered good etiquette to let the GM handle the world and its reactions while the players focus on their characters precisely to avoid clusterfucks like these. Definitely unworkable idea, especially given time to think out how things go instead of having to pull up reactions at the drop of a hat. I don't support what Gisk did, I think he fucked up, but I definitely agree that your sudden taming of an NPC-trained falcon with no explanation beyond "I think it's cool so I'm adding this skill to my bio right now" in the OOC was a copout, as was completely undoing the situation and trying to have a cool exit before anyone did anything. If you were insulted by my word choice then hey, I apologize, not the point there. Point being mostly "mistakes were made".
