Crona is a mysterious information broker who, while willing to share her real name, prefers to stay quiet regarding her past. She originally came into SAO as a heavily armored swordswoman. Indeed, she used to be quite the adventurer like you, until she took that javelin to the knee… It healed, but she never quite got over the shock and despair of losing a limb. 

Crona and Kazuma have become close friends, often sharing loot and money in exchange for information. There have also been a couple of awkward half-dates at local restaurants. On one special occasion, Kazuma even had Crona over to his house and made her a meal himself. The food was terrible and neither of them knew quite how to act, so they don’t talk about the experience any more. In reality, Crona was quite touched by the whole affair and has developed some conflicting and confusing feelings regarding the one-eyed rouge.
