Airliners can be anywhere from eighty to two hundred tons on average. Some weigh more, some weigh less. None are even close to ten tons, let alone one.

Edit: in the comics, Iron Man is classified as a class 90. Meaning he can lift ninety tons at least. (Although this is for comparisons between characters and not a set level for Iron Man.)
