Backstory: Sari was born in Mumbai, India which is where she spent the first 7 years of her life, and nearly a year of that was spent fighting and recovering from a damaging, and nearly fatal infection.

With their new jobs in London Sari's parents had to work a lot more hours, so she took up reading a lot more. That was when she discovered her love of mysteries and affinity for medicine and word puzzles. She started reading every medical book, which pleased her parents, and detective story she could get her hands on. All through school she planned on one day becoming either a doctor or a coroner. She did not learn until last year, when she applied for college, that her poor grip, shakiness, and weak ankles were bad enough to prevent her from getting a job anywhere in medicine, even as a coroner. After every medical college had turned her down she gave up on the idea of college and found a job as a detectives assistant.
