Um, Damon, are you sure Adele isn't a Slytherin? High ambitions and a respect for power is... kind of their thing, not Gryffindor's. You didn't mention anything special with the hat, so if he didn't choose Gryffindor, I don't think he belongs there. That's just me, though, based on your summary of his personality.
-'Uncaring,' 'angry,' and 'mean' are three things that Adele has often been described as throughout his whole life. His attitude and demeanor has caused a lot of people to label him such as that. He isn't as uncaring, angry, or mean once you get to know him, well you just get used to the fact that, that's just how he is and it is okay to be like that. -Adele is a power-hungry youth, he wants success and power and he wants it fast. The young wizard does whatever he can to improve to become more successful and powerful, he wants to strive to the highest point possible, sometimes ignoring the fact that it can possibly hurt or endanger the others around him and himself. -Driven to a fault, Adele likes accomplishments and finishing something is what he is known to do no matter what the task. He does what he is told and does it well, even if it causes himself pain or discomfort, he finds a way to overcome it or has to at least.
