Here's my character, sorry if it's a little long winded... c: Name: Chloe Louise Taylor Age: 20 Country: New York, New York. USA Looks:

Chloe is on the shorter side, she stands about 5' 3”. She has blue eyes with flicks of gold encasing the pupil. Her eyes-- like most people with colored eyes--- change hue when in different lights. Chloe actually has poor sight and would be pretty blind without her contacts. Chloe is very feminine and very proud of it, she always does her hair and makeup, and takes great pride in her appearance. She dresses well and usually prefers a professional style of clothes (Pencil skirts, blouses, cardigans, fitted trousers, shift dresses, and other various items). Often dons heels or pumps in order to giver herself that extra height advantage. Occasionally she will dress more to the fashion of her age group, but not typically. Personality: At first glance Chloe appears to be a very friendly person, however much to the chagrin of those that approach her that isn't the case. She has had a long standing problem with getting along with others. Although it has never really been her fault, people just have a hard time dealing with her dominate personality. Or at least that's how she rationalizes it. She has a strong sense of superiority to those around her, rather it be because they aren't in the same circle as her or their intelligence isn't up to par with hers. To Chloe people are grouped in two categories, people that just aren't worth it (this group making up the majority of people that she knows) and people that are. She has no problem voicing her opinions and telling people pretty much what she thinks of them. Though she has enough tact to know when certain things should be kept to herself. Chloe has a strong sense of purpose and a lot of confidence. She is often considered to be a very driven person, who will settle for nothing but the best in both people and materials. Chloe is intelligent and she likes to be flattered. By far her biggest issue is that she can't really empathize with others, her selfishness makes it hard for her to understand that others have problems that are important too, and she isn't the center of the world. Short History:
Chloe was raised by a single mother in the elite society of New York. Her mother, Martha, was a power hungry CEO. She was the type of woman who was never wrong and was never told no. Martha was very dedicated to her company and ran it with an iron grip. Outside of work place was a rather agreeable person, but her notorious reputation for being ruthless in the corporate world made friends and lovers scarce. By her late 40s she soon realized that the other people around her had something she didn't, a family. A family with children that looked so adoringly at their parents. She realized that that adoration was something that Martha had wanted so badly for herself. She realized that her time was short and finding a husband was something she didn't have the luxury of finding yet for she turned to other options. And so Chloe was conceived through in virto fertilization, after Martha had found the perfect sperm donor that is. When Martha had Chloe she discovered her maternal instincts fast and became a very proud mother. To Martha her life was complete with the new addition of her daughter, she would never be alone again. Chloe was showered in affection, always told how beautiful, smart, and talented she was- how much better she was compared to everyone else. Martha enforced the idea that she was the daughter of someone special and that she, as a result, was someone important. As a child Chloe had free reign, she could do what she wanted, whenever she wanted, at little to no expense. Well, so long as her grades kept up- which they usually did, thanks to the countless well paid tutors. Even though she had everything she could ever imagine, she spent most of her childhood alone. Her mother was a very busy woman after all. The few occasions that she was home they spent their time together enjoying the finer things in life. Chloe became estranged from other kids her age, often fighting with them or making the other kids cry. When the only people you are around are paid to be bossed around by you and give you everything you want- you don't really understand how normal relationships work. As a result Chloe developed a very bossy and unagreeable personality. Despite Chloe's behavior she was rather well known in high school, where she had a small circle of 'friends'. Friends that were more like peers that followed her around senselessly. She was always the best dressed and became proud to be a fashionista of the school. Chloe had eventually graduated with high honors and went on to a top ranking college. During her first year of University, her mother fell terminally ill. Martha's company went under the control of her vice president, who in turn, drove it directly into the ground. Chloe and her dying mother had to live off of what was left of her mother's savings. Normally that would have been enough to keep them going. But Chloe was inexperienced with money, so they needed a way to turn a profit. She had tried to invest money like her mother had told her to, but she lacked the experience and the eye for good business that her mother had. A few misplaced investments and their wealth started to quickly diminish. Chloe was able to remain in college up until her sophomore year, until her mother's money ran out. With no money to afford treatment Martha died, leaving her daughter with little to nothing to go off of and a bruised ego.
Other: Chloe joined the experiment for some place to stay and live for the meantime. She hopes that the money she will receive at the end will help her to finish her education and open up her own fashion line.. Besides the world could do a little better being more like her, right?
