[Matt] Whew, thanks. That wasn't so hard, just took me by surprise. Matt gives the now truly dead girl a swift glance as he lifts the microphone stand. I don't feel anything for her, but I'm not surprised. That's just the way I am. Maybe if I had known her I would have. If I do see someone I know, I can't let that get me killed. My friends wouldn't want that. Ready to go now, adrenaline surging through his body, Matt ventures forward and checks the corner to his left. His caution is rewarded, as another zombie had apparently heard the commotion and was making it's way over to him and about to round the corner. Matt thrust the pole forward, hitting the zombie in the chest and knocking it onto its back. Before it can get up, Matt raises the pole above his head and stabs it down as hard as he can. The pole slides through the zombie's eye socket, crunching through with less resistance than Matt expected. The zombie stops struggling nearly immediately. Matt braces his foot on the zombie's chest and pulls it up with a tug, blood spilling out of the hole and dripping off of the end of the pole. "Heh, that's one... Hey Irene, can we swap weapons? No offense, but I'm stronger than you and I'll be able to use that better." Matt refers to the aluminum bat Irene was holding.
