Jinny listened calmly to all that Joshua was saying, only nodding in response. Joshua talked to her like her Daddy used to- like she was old enough to get things. If she didn't understand something, she could ask, but she knew it wasn't going to be dumbed down for her or put in baby language. She hated people who treated her like she was stupid because she was young. Just because she hadn't lived that long didn't mean she didn't have a brain! She trailed after him, quiet as they reached the warehouse. There was bound to be treasure inside- maybe food, maybe weapons, maybe awesome things to build with tools. "I won't touch anything." Her voice was low and steady. "And I'll pay attention."
