While their have been traces of Victorians being able to survive with out a master, the vast majority will often die after a 100 days due to a small disability in their brain that requires them to be bound to said master. So I'm going to take a guess, and say even though they might be spiteful of the Alexandrians, they probably would rather be enslaved than die. Also If I didn't mention that in my CS then please let me know, because while I was making it I had a small power outage, and I don't know exactly what was lost, and what wasn't.
