The Doctor was groaning as he lent on the console of the TARDIS. He was panting. He was sore and injured after his recent run in with the Master. He closed his eyes. He knew the pain was more bearable. He walked down to the medbay to find some medicine to ease his pain. It was still nothing compared to what the worst he had been through. The Doctor knew even if trouble followed him that taking it easy somewhere might be a good idea. "Alright...," The Doctor said speaking to the TARDIS. "I think London earth is a good idea don't you." He had nobody else to talk to really. He wasn't sure how long he could stay out of trouble. He knew that trouble always found him sooner or later. He flicked the switches on the TARDIS and pulled s few levers. He grinned as the TARDIS started up. He did always enjoy it when the TARDIS set off. The TARDIS took off through time and space. He held on as best as he could. He didn't want to fall when he was already injured. He landed the TARDIS in London. He opened the doors and stepped out. Least it was calm for now. It seemed that way anyway. He walked out and headed up to the libary to read. He knew that he needed to just relax. He knew his injures would heal in time. He just hoped that he didn't have to sleep it off too much. The time lord looked for a few books to read. "Mmmmmm," he seemed to be muttering to himself. He really did miss travelling with somebody. It always seemed to keep him from making stupid decisions. If he hadnt been alone he might have not gotten injured like he did. After he had a few books, He went and sat down on one the soft couches. He knew it was tempting to just fall asleep. Though he knew that he wanted to avoid that if he could. He picked up on of the books and began flicking through. He had his black glasses on. He was silent and just sat there. Occansionally the Doctor would look up to see what was going on. But other than that he seemed to just carry on reading. He was lonley, but he didn't want to loose anybody else. That pain was sometimes just too much for him. He always ended up alone in the end. He just hoped the medicine would last long enough. He was still sore though and was sure he looked a little pale. He knew it had been his own fault that he hadnt judged the Master's next move as well. He just tried to ingore it all. He closed his eyes for a bit. He refused to fall asleep encase anything happened.
