Pepper placed her hand over his cheek as she frowned, "Tony, please show us. You're scaring me right now," she told him truthfully, but instead he curled up and refused. Her heart dropped at the thought of losing him. What was it that he was working on that required him to be so secretive about it? She began to wonder if SHIELD was aware of this as well, then again it was unlikely. He made sure to make his system far more secured to avoid them hacking. She watched Bruce give Tony something, thankfully he took it and didn't fight back. 

Her head lifted up when he mentioned telling them. Her eyes now fixed on him as she waited with anticipation, "A new element? Tony are you building something with this element? Have you been in contact with it?" she asked softly wondering if that was the cause. It was likely that that element was the very thing making him sick if he had been in contact with it. When he screamed out she gasped wondering what she could do. "How do we help him?": she asked Bruce sounding alarmed and panicked. Tears were strolling down her face as she cried.
