Pepper was shocked to hear that he had indeed had contact with the element. That had to be what was making him so sick, even JARVIS was having difficulty informing them what was wrong with Tony. "JARVIS, Tony has given us access to his files, please authorise me," she pleaded, her voice soft and weak. 

"Acess Granted," JARVIS informed as Pepper wiped her tears away. "Bruce stay with him, I need to go through his files, JARVIS run scans over this element, we need more information," Pepper spoke as she moved over to the elevator. She hoped Tony would be fine without her, he had Bruce so she was assured nothing bad would happen. 

Once she was back in his lab all the files opened up in the air, they were detailed images and blueprints of his invention, of course notes and scribbles I'm his handwriting that she had recognised. "Miss. Potts, regrading the element analysis, the results show it to have a high concentration level of Electromagnetic energy," JARVIS had continued on with What he had found but Pepper struggled to understand what it really was. Eventually he informed her that there wasn't enough information when it came to why it was affecting Tony's health.
