"You've got a lot of power in you, T'charrl, and a lot of untapped potential. Right now maybe you're a bit behind, but you can catch up." Besides, only Takeshi really had control of his power, Shu was pretty dangerous due to his lack thereof. In a basic, martial arts styled fight, hand to hand and grappling, Roshi believed the alien could more than hold his own. Size aside he seemed pretty strong, and he certainly had the desire to become stronger. With the means to do so he was confident T'charrl would be a mighty strong warrior given enough time and effort. Roshi might give some tricks to fighting Saiyans if either boy had a tail that could be used against them, but if he remembered right Shu's tail didn't work the same way. Ah, so much for that then. At least it was only a lighthearted sparring match and not an actual fight, he wasn't too sure if he'd send T'charrl in if that were the case. "Are they stronger, or do you think they are?" the hermit mused, smiling cheekily as he raised an eyebrow. "I bet you've been trained to fight, and you've got the energy to match theirs almost. Have some confidence boy, you can do fine. Now, how about you go propose a spar with them. In the meantime..." Roshi paused, starting to shuffle back towards the house, scooping up his tea on the way, "I've got more exercising to do!" For someone who hadn't done this in over a year Shu was certainly doing pretty well at it. Granted everything was a little bumpy, but with some refinement here and there the little guy would be every bit as fluent as his older brother in no time. Takeshi smiled cheerfully, feeling rather proud of himself right now. Who would have thought he'd be teaching anyone anything, especially something as tricky as Ki. "Nah. In fact, once you get it down it'll be natural to you, you can do it without even thinking of it." Same thing with flying, or blasting for that matter. Really when broken down every time you did that you went through the three steps, for each and every blast or burst of energy. If you practiced enough however it could all be done in the drop of a hat and you didn't even need to think about it. Proud of his little brother Takeshi slung an arm around Shu's shoulders, grinning as he poked his sibling in the chest. "We'll do that kind of stuff a bit more, but already you've got the idea down. I'd guess we only need another day until you've got it, then we can do the real fun stuff. Before we leave again I bet you'll be flying around and shooting like the rest of us!"
