I got up from my seat in the bleachers and made my way down to the track after a few of the other patients had already finished. I had no problem at all running two laps, and did it in good timing as well. Once that was finished I got on the ground for push ups and sit ups, although I didn't agree with the idea of sit ups. Being a sociopath I often get bored easily. And so whenever I have time I will read to entertain myself for a short amount of time. Any knowledge I can acquire while in here will only help me once I am released. It just so happened I had a thing for staying healthy while in here, and read up on work outs I could do with no equipment. So I could do them in the solitude of my own room. Or anywhere really. "Doctor... I would like to request a different workout to replace sit ups. I don't agree with them." I said as I began my push ups. "When you first begin the movement, your spine hyperextends. When you’re half way through the movement your spine becomes hyperflexed. This places a tremendous amount of pressure on your lumbar spine and specifically between the disks between those vertebrae 1...2...3...4" I said in synchronization with my push ups. "And there are other work outs better for your rectus abdominis." I said as I got up from doing the push ups. I had accomplished 50 total before I got bored with them and moved on to the next work out. Dead lifting. I wasn't used to dead lifting, and I had never done it before so I tried the weight that was left on it. 150 lbs. It was achievable with little hesitation, I could do more. I set the weights down and put on another 50 pounds. I lifted it up with a little more effort and set it down. I could do more with much more effort but didn't feel like lifting anymore. Next just to get them out of the way until I could be excused from them, sit ups. I laid down and did 50 sit ups before finishing. Then I waited for the doctors response to my request.
