Nolan smiled, watching the Juggernauts approach. He had them dead to rights. Not that anyone would ever be able to make him take that order. Ever. As they rolled up he didn't make a move, he wanted to see how long they'd look around for them. See if their fieldcraft was as good as he hoped it be. Then Andrew went and spoiled it. He groaned. And got up a little slower then his partner. He climbed down the rocks carefully. Grinning a little, pushing his ghille hood back over his head, "Cold? This is T-shirt weather in Manitoba." He laughed softly, reaching up to shake hands with Jenny and Carl. Carl returning the shake, Jenny just smiling. Nolan swung his Tac 50 up onto a shoulder. And was about to say something about really wanting to have a snowball fight, when Merlin cut in. Nolan groaned, "Well that's life for ya." He clambered up onto the back finding himself a place to sit or squat down, he checked his load out, his rifle, PP2000, pistol and ammo for them would have to do for now. He nodded, "Punch it Jenny, though slow down about 800 meters our so we can be of more use to you guys on the ground. I didn't even come half prepared to wade into the middle of a fire fight. I don't have the armoring you guys do." He grabbed a support tube as the Growler kicked off. Letting out a soft grunt of surprise. ----- Further down Carl was scanning his sector when the radio he is using to spy on enemy comms crackles. Enemy chatter snapping over, saying something about Tempest being hit by "really big robots". He cued into the comms with Merlin, "Knight Two, to Merlin, Enemy comms is going nuts. Is that our PSC's? They making that ruckus down there already?" Carl swayed with the Growler, waiting to see if they got anything back from their eye in the sky. ----- A short time ago Victor put his helmet back on, sealing it with a pull. He and Natalie had reloaded and refueled. He'd taken a little time to try and rearmor as well. But the outpost they had gone to just didn't have the equipment needed to repair his suit as much as he had wanted. None the less, he had a tactical vest buckled on over part of the huge patch of armoring that he had lost in that fight. It would have to make do. He smiled at his significant other, "You mean you actually had a chance to get your hands on Qaddafi and didn't take it? Wring that scrawny little bastages neck? I would have done it in a heart beat. Mind you, his Amazon guard, would have become my willing puppets shortly after." He grins and makes a pose, as if his mightiness speaks for itself. He laughs outloud. Then pulls his face plate off grinning broadly at Natalie, "Now, this time when we go out the back, don't go out uncontrolled this time would you? I'd really like to spend some time with you as my wife. Before we both bite the bullet in combat or in old age please." As they came over the LZ he could hear the patter of small arms fire on the armored skin of the Chinook. He walked to the back of the chopper. Looking out the rear of it to the ground below. He grinned broadly, "Something tells me they don't like us. He let Natalie go first, lull them into a false sense of security. He followed shortly. He got a look at what she did as he fell. Moments later, he slammed into the ground. Freaking the living fuck out of the second man. A giant of a beast of a woman just took out his partner. And now something, that looked like a robot just landed on one knee and a foot appears out of the sky. He sprays at Victor. Victor feeling the rounds patter away at his armor. He gets up, and draws one of his tomahawks in one movement. As he's getting to his feet he flicks his hand, the axe buzz-sawing through the air to take the man full in the throat. He paws at the axe, trying to dislodge it, even as he gurgle out the last of his lifeblood. Victor walked over to retrieve the weapon, flicking the blood off it and slamming it back into the sheath on his arm. Victor pulled the XM307 off his back, and nodded, "This started well." They entered the courtyard and he ripped three rounds into a squad of OPFOR near the large gate out into the street beyond., "Oh I can take point? Is this my early birthday present?" He ran forward, lowered his shoulder, and rammed right through the gate into the street. Sending one of the steel things flying from sheer force alone. The other flipping open, and catching an insurgent right in the face with it's leading metal edge. He leveled his launcher, "Alright, who gets to die first." He started to walk forward. Opening fire on any high cal installations he saw, and on any RPG troops he saw. Trusting in Natalie to pick off the small fry. Even as they did this the OPFOR communications went haywire, calling for reinforcements, armor, anything to help them at Fort Tempest. Even as Victor stomped his way towards the walls of the fort ahead. Nothing would stop them once they got rolling, short of a tank anyway. But Victor and Natalie were prepared for that too.
