Jia-li had her eyes closed and her hands lay loosely in her lap as she meditated quietly while listening to her orders and the proposed plans. Techno spoke about communicators and how they were adapted to their powers. Seemed cool in theory but there was nothing that adapted to her power. Things were crushed, reduced to nothing, and left without hope of ever returning. As the comm flew towards her, she caught it midair in her hand before slowly opening her eyes. She gazed at the small device before attaching it to her ear. "I do have one question. What if I..." she said, but hesitated for a moment, trailing off. She looked at the people around the table and wondered if she should even bring it up. Jia-li frowned and stood. She wouldn't need to worry about it. She had her emotions under control so there was nothing to fear. Things would be okay... "Actually nevermind. Are we done here?" she said in an annoyed tone. She wanted to get out of this room. Being in an enclosed space with all of her friends when she felt like a time bomb was surely not making her stress reduce at all. Friends... she thought. Is that what they are? Is that why I care so much...? She realized she was standing there awkwardly and opted to just sit back down and wait to be dismissed.
