And there's nothing wrong with that. Because you understand the difference between fiction and reality. Hell, one of my all-time favorite Tales of the Abyss fanfics starts as a rape between Luke and Tear, then moves to passionate rape, then willing sex. By the end of it, they're a couple. Does that happen in real life? I sure as hell hope not. But this is my OTP of Tales and the story is very well written. Plus it's an escape from what the horrors of rape REALLY are. Rapists deserve to burn. Or at least have their genitalia removed. And yes, it can be a slippery slope, but in my opinion, so long as the person doesn't have truly malicious intents, some leeway can be given (although there are exceptions).

Look, Solemn, my goal has never once been to change Assallya's opinion. Nor do I think she's trying to change mine. Opinions differ, that's life.
