"I will always return to your side," Persephone promised Hades with a warm smile. Lunging into her husband, she hugged him tightly & kept close to him, filling him with her gentle warmth. Hades was so nervous still, but why? Demeter didn't approve of their relationship, but she would never hurt her daughter. The woman never raised a hand against Persephone before. Eventually, Persephone had to come to grips with the fact that she had to get ready for her trip & released Hades, looking at him sadly. She didn't want to have to go at all, even if it shouldn't be for very long this time. Having to part with him was the hardest thing she had to do, & she knew it was just as hard on him as it was on her. "I will be gone for a week at the longest," Persephone told Hades gently, "After I speak with Mother, she will have a week to make up her mind before I eat the fruit I have in my things. One way or another, I will escape this vice grip she keeps on me for the moment. & when I return, we can be together without fear. Have faith, husband. No matter the time, day, or even lifetime we are in, I will always be yours."
