After Gwen's position? I suppose it would be best, she's investigating and trying to take down the admins after all. Wouldn't that be quite the scandal, leader of the savants turns out to be a traitor? Gwen wouldn't like your character to lead, she's self centered with a superiority complex to boot. It's nothing personal, Gwen just doesn't get along well with hotheads. 

Personally I think it would be interesting to have one of the less desirable characters (personality wise) as a leader.
