I nodded, giving his hand a small squeeze as we began to walk into the crowd of chaos. "Don't let go of my hand." I had to speak loud so Sam could hear my voice over the shouting. "Please." I looked ahead as the crowd got thicker. As Sam led the way, I made sure to try to avoid flying fist and legs that tried to kick their way out of a guards grip. As we walked, someone in the crowd elbowed me right on my bruised ribs. It took everything in me not to double over and fall to my knees. Instead, I wrapped my free arm around myself and we continued on.
