"Luckily I didn't. I had a feeling you'd made it out." I smiled softly at him. "Are you ok?" I asked, as he wrapped his arms around his torso. Being in that mess with all those wild people, flailing and pushing whoever they could, I was sure he'd gotten a little banged up. We both did. "We could sit here for a bit if you like. Give us both a chance to get ourselves together before we head back." I was still quietly trying to get my breathing back on track.
