She wouldn't be sure how long it would take him to get back, especially since the time he said it would take probably ran out a while ago. Whenever he got back, it was apparent that she had fussed about. His bed was made and the one corner was folded so that he could slip right in and go to sleep. Her things were nestled together in a safe and out of the way spot. There was a small, still slightly warm pizza on the nightstand next to his bed with a sticky note telling him to consume the nutrition before bed. It appeared to be a normal cheese pizza with store bought packages of pepperoni, sausage, pineapple, and extra marinara sauce. The cooler was half hidden, and if he had the energy or care to notice - the ice was changed. There was a wad of cash and some change on the counter too, next to a brand new laptop and a bottle of her pills. Everything would be fine and safe and comforting.. Except maybe a few things... Her bed was untouched, she was sleeping sitting in a chair looking towards the door and there was a tiny spot of light about two feet from her - sun let in through the curtains that seemed to have been moved/disturbed somehow. She of course, is unaware of it.
