Luna opened her eyes expecting to see the white ceiling of her room and to hear the yelling of her mom that she was late for school. She expected to feel a soft blanket over her and her bed underneath and to smell the beginnings of breakfast downstairs. Yet, when she opened her eyes she saw none of these things. When she looked up she saw vibrant green leaves of trees high above her and heard strange humming noises around her. She sat up and did not feel her blanket, but moss and earth under her and instead of smelling bacon and eggs she smelled leaves and moss. She looked around, "Am I dreaming?" She said and presumed to quickly pinch herself. She looked around once more and got up, the confusion melting away to curiosity. I wonder if any people live hereshe thought to herself. She stood up and started walking out of the small clearing she was in and into the lush underbrush, completely disoriented, but hoping to find someone. She was actually quite cheery as she went, enjoying the outdoors as she walked, though finding it strange how she got there.
