"Hmph," escaped from Seth's mouth as he caught Adrian and Alexandra being all lovey dovey. He generally didn't mind open displays of affection all too much (unless it was excessive and overly sappy), but this particular thing irked him. Why had a half sister of his chosen to even associate herself with that brute of a demigod? Thoughts and feelings like these were quickly pushed to the side of his mind as Chiron requested volunteers. A person proficient in magic? He fit the bill.

"Chiron?" Seth called while raising and waving his hand. "I think we all know that I'm one of the best mages in my cabin, especially with my particular magic. Considering this is my mother, and the mother of my half-siblings as well, I'd like to take part in this."

Seth shot Adrian a bit of a spiteful glare as he spoke. This guy was going too? Great. And now he was rambling on about his strength. Typical. 

"And... I promise I won't use anything to hurt anyone on the team if things get out of hand... much at least."
