As Kijani opens the door, she is greeted by a warm smile and an welcoming voice. "Ah, Ms. Rayne." says Charles Xavier from behind his desk, "I was wondering when you'd finally make your way to my office." He extends a hand toward two chairs, one a rather standard wooden chair, the other a plush bean bag chair. "Please, take a seat." Once Kijani is seated, Professor Xavier comments, "As soon as you entered my history class, I knew something was bothering you. However, I thought it would be in your best interest to let you approach me, as opposed to the other way around." He leans back in his wheelchair and laces his fingers together as he asks thoughtfully, "So tell me, what's the matter?"
Kijani was rather surprised to see Mr. Xavier behind the desk. But then, who would better know the mind than a mind-reader? Kijani shifted uncomfortably in the chair she'd chosen, trying to figure out how to breech the subject. "I... I have a problem. A pretty glaring weakness." She sighed softly, rubbing her face with both hands. "I... I've been having these visions of a particular event in the past." Her gaze shifted away, she couldn't look the man in the eyes. There was shame in her posture that she would never show to the other students, her shoulders dropped and her head lowered. "I've done the research- everything seems to say I'm experiencing flashbacks. I'd like them to stop." Her voice choked slightly on the last word. "Can you do that?"
