Seeing that the sun was rising and realizing that he had somehow actually managed to survive another night, Sonja blinked the last remnants of sleep from his eyes and dropped from the fire escape where he had been hiding. He wasn't really sure what this building was, since he had found it in the dark very late at night, when most people should have been sleeping. All he knew was that it was far enough out of the way and he had been lucky enough not to get caught. Adjusting the slightly large jacket on his shoulders, he set out on the streets, keeping an eye out for a way to obtain his next meal and perhaps a better place to sleep the next night.
