xD It's ok, and the creature actually is dangerous, as it is very impatient and if it gets provoked or it has to wait to long it will attack. I like the idea that the fruit makes you hallucinate.

EDIT: And when the Sanguis sucks someone's blood maybe it could suck so much that they become on the brink of dying, therefore the thing you need most is really thins person's blood back which he gives, but the exact same amount he took out, leaving you in the same position you were before. How does that sound?
