Okay, just to clarify....

What will happen to the teenagers....
-After the fieldtrip, they will start to feel ill
-This will happen for a few days until they suddenly feel well again - better, more energised
-Then they will have gained the ability to 'flare' - most of the time, they are normal teens. But in times of heightened emotion (or occasionally just randomly), their eyes glow a gold colour, they have enhanced sense (sight, smell, touch, hearing etc) and increased strength, speed and agility ONLY for now. This will strengthen over a long period of time and evolve...
-Pilot has developed his abilities over a long time and so his abilities are a lot more advanced than the teens. His presence - once/if it is discovered that pilot is a product of a similiar experiment - will worry/excite(?) the teens that they will have the same fate. 

Things to note...
-The scientists will NOT initially know that the kids were to ones who broke in. They send Pilot to investigate at their high school as a precaution and Pilot will be suspicious, but - to give us a fighting chance! - not until the teens' abilities have manifested & the scientists have realised that they are the carriers
-The 'disease' is not infectious (so no one will catch it off them), only caught through direct exposure to the source
- Metronome; in the earlier portion of the RP, you and some scientists from the lab could be meeting for a annual examination (or something), whilst the teenagers are on the fieldtrip. If you have any other ideas, feel free to state them - I can always edit the IC.

If anyone has any more question, feel free to ask! Alternatively, if anyone has any problems with the above points, feel free to voice them!

By the way, this will NOT be a speed-posting RP! In my experience, if people speed post, a few people are left behind and therefore drop out, until there is hardly anyone left. Do not feel afraid to post - there are no set time limits/minimums between posts - but try to be considerate of your fellow RPers. And please alert me if you are going to be absent for an extended period of time.
