When Sasha put the arm ring on, having to slide it up her arm a bit if she wanted it to fit snugly, she would suddenly feel herself growing a bit stronger, just a small bit, as if the ring slightly increased one's physical strength when worn on their arm. If that was the true case of what the arm ring did then these were magical items that were pretty awesome indeed. When Silas pressed the Yes button on the window nothing happened except for a window appearing in front of him.
You do not meet the requirements for this Skill. The requirements are: --Vit 10 --Int 10 --Wis 10 --Focus 5
The requirements seemed rather simplistic to meet, meaning it was probably a basic or beginner skill, but it would still be something useful to learn and with Silas' two level ups he could apply the Stat and Talent points needed to meet these requirements right now if he wanted to, which was always a nice thing about saving points. Of course, if Silas had any questions first before he did this or anything else he wanted to say first to Genji, Genji would be willing to answer. With Silas' gaming knowledge... --- Silas Knowledge: 72 - 9 Knowledge - 25 Knowledge of Gaming = 38 --- He would have an idea that whenever Skill Books were used in games the book always disappeared, meaning that there was a good chance that the book may disappear if Silas uses it. Of course, its not like Genji would know this, so if Silas wanted to either ask Genji if he didn't mind the book practically vanishing from existence then he could. He could also do it without asking Genji and pretend that he didn't know this would happen. Of course, its not like the idea is 100% accurate since the book could still be around after the Skill was learned from it. The Gamer power could be unpredictable after all. --- (What will happen if Silas does so, don't use this to meta game in your decision on whether or not you want to do this, doing this to save posting time) If Silas were to apply the points he received from his two level ups to meet these requirements and then attempt to learn the skill once again something much different would happen this time. The book would glow yellow slightly, glowing yellow lights that looked like scraps of paper floating towards and through Silas, as if he was absorbing the skill. He would feel the knowledge, awareness, power, and everything else needed to use this Skill flow into him, Genji's eyes widening as he watched this, openly surprised at whatever was going on. When it was over the book was now completely gone, nowhere to be seen and now two windows appeared.
You have learned the HiragaiyaTamashī no Nesshō Skill

HiragaiyaTamashī no Nesshō (Level 1: 0/100) (Active: 20 + X MP): This special skill is a basic technique learned by martial artists of the Hiragaiya clan. It involves harnessing and burning their spiritual energy (MP) to channel it into various attacks or other special capabilities. On its own in the most basic state though it can be used to burn spiritual energy (MP) to enhance your physical capabilities for that amount of time. When you use this Skill the X MP cost of this Skill is how much additional MP you spend (it has to be at least 5). Your Physical Abilities are all enhanced by a % value equal to how much additional MP you pour into the Skill. Not only that, but any attack, whether magical or physical, deals an additional 10% Damage while this Skill is active and you take 5% less damage. This Skill lasts only for a number of seconds equal to 5 + 10% of your Focus Score though. To Level Up: Use the Skill. Defeat an Enemy while the Skill is active.
"What... the hell was that?" Asked a very surprised Genji, who still seemed to get actively surprised whenever this 'Gamer' power did something new or strange as it all seemed like stuff that had never been seen in the Abyss before.
