They sat down comfortably on the warm coloured concrete and conversed. As Daniel teased Kat's tendency to eat he found himself to be in a different emotional state as he offered him his own lunch to her-- Which was responded with a growl. Kat's sleight of hand pushed forward to catch him out of his balance before she swatted over his lap successfully grabbing his lunch box in a motion of victory. Daniel was left in surprise and he couldn't fight the energised Kat off. The way she had taken the lunchbox also made his face dip into her chest accidentally, giving Daniel a cushion out of his mind. "If you offer it like that, I'm gonna go ahead~!" It seems like she still had her competitive spirit inside of her, despite of the pout by her lips that caught Daniel's attention. There was a moment's pause when she remained on his lap, where Daniel realised what was happening before Kat scrambled away from him leaving Daniel in a warmand oven-like flush. She just mounted Daniel as if he was a beast that she conquered. Maybe he should've fought back a little, but at least he thought that he got a feeling of Kat's chests by his face! There was a snicker and giggle. The sound of the plastic lid opening was heard before Kat began to ravish over the lunch and Daniel looked over to see her eat his lunch in… Euphoria? Every now and then Kat's head would perk up, leering as if trying to tell him to lay off her food when she eats. Over time, her spirits declined and Daniel could just tell. Her expression softened and her chewing cheeks began to much softer as she swallowed before meeting her eyes back to Daniel concerned. "She is fine… Right?" The question only made him look towards the distant view. To be honest… She probably was in a bad situation. Something bad had happened and she can't be contacted. Hell, he'd even though if she was involved in some sort of messed up accident. Maybe she's in hospital? Cared by the ICU units because she suffered major injuries. Maybe she was forever crippled and disabled, bound by a wheelchair half-paralysed and needs to take therapy for the majority of her time and never see them often again? How unsettling it felt to be thinking of those thoughts inside of Daniel. His face looked just as hopeless and thoughtless. All he could hope that she really is fine. A sigh ensued as he stared at the ground, curling one of his knees to his stomach as he threw a look over his shoulder towards the worried Kat with a half-certain answer. "It's Emilia… She can handle herself. You know that… I bet you she might just not be feeling well today and don't want to tell you because she knows that you'll be mad and force her to come." Daniel shifted himself a little closer to Kat, hustling one of his arm over to Kat and pulling her in. "It can just be us two today. Don't think about anything else. I mean, it's not that bad right? We get to do things that Emilia normally would stop us from doing! Like arguing or playing catch." He looked up towards the sky. "Or just… Spend some more time a little less hectic."
